I know some of you might think the name "Techstepper's Realm" sounds a little temporaly.  After all, didn't that name just made birth a while back?  Well, the name itself may have.  But the style did not.  If you can remember artists such as Altern-8, Acen, Baby-D, T-99, Cubic 22, SL-2, Cold Sensation, Angel Ice, etc, today's techstep is just a logical progression from that(breaks with mechanical, manacing backdrops).  And if those artists are considered Classic nowadays by some (probably more than many people might think), then Techstep is clearly the music for today, and for the future.  It is a genre that already have set the standard back in 91'-92', before the vibe was clearly defined.

Techstepper's realm is a place to find reviews of CDs, mainly Drum n Bass.  But you will find wide range of genre reviewed such as TripHop, not just Drum n Bass.  Although I strongly doubt that you'll find any Trance, GOA, and Ambient reviewed.  Stuff needs to be rocking.  (that doesn't mean loud or shit like that.  It can have no beat at all and still be rocking. ie: "Spangle" by Seefeel)

The score that I give is in scale of 0 - 10; 0 being the worst and 10 being the best.  But when I give rating, I don't look at it like that.  I think of it as 5 being the average of stuff that I've heard.  And at my financial settings, 8 or higher is worth paying money for, and maybe 7 or even 6 if it can be gotten cheap.  9 is "get it" and 10 is "what are you waiting for?"  Below 5 is not worth it.
